I incorporate personally symbolic imagery within my glass, creating a visual narrative. The figurative objects which I create evolve into uniquely internal portraits and characters. They are honest and emotionally expressive, dwelling on the mysteries and joys of daily living, where I understand what it means to be human.
The particular imagery I use is in direct reference to my vocabulary of childhood themes. These themes include combinations of ordinary objects in an unusual context, giving new meanings to familiar things.
