Join Quadrant Gallery at a spring ball at Larnach Castle in Dunedin on 13 September. As a joint sponsor of the 2008 Hocken Collections Ball, Quadrant is offering a $200 voucher to the Gallery to be drawn on the night. Tickets are priced at $95 and include transport, a sit down meal, and dancing to the Calder Prescott Jazz Quartet, and can be purchased by ringing 03 479 8868 or emailing hocken@otago.ac.nz.

Quadrant Gallery will be showing at the National Jewellery Showcase in Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre from 5-8 June. Dunedin jewellers David McLeod and Chaim Cleavin will be representing the gallery and displaying their work

Chris is a finalist in the Fine Jewellery category of the 2008 AGR Matthey New Zealand Jewellery Design Awards with his ring, Ginga: The Fire Inside [see the article in the Otago Daily Times, 3 May 2008].

The winners of the Fine and Contemporary sections of the award will be announced at the National Jewellery Showcase to be held in Wellington 5-8 June 2008.

After some time we're delighted to announce the arrival of our web page. A selection of work by each artist will be displayed, plus news of exhibitions and other events you may wish to hear about. At the moment it is still a work in progress but new content is being added daily. There is also a RSS feed for those wanting automatic notification of anything new. Glass Exhibition

The next focus exhibition will feature three graduates of UCOL's 2007 glass programme, April Nijland, Gemma Chapman and Mark Rolinson. Opening Monday 5 May, it will run until Saturday 17 May.
