Mothmade Jewels

Lily Wenmoth, aka Mothmade Jewels is a jeweller based in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, after taking one jewellery course she was hooked, and has continued to expand her skills since. Taking inspiration from the landscape, Mothmade Jewels reference the seafoam on a cresting wave, the delicacy of a basket fungi, and the contrast of the concrete, urban landscape. A priority in Lily's practice is sustainability, using recycled sterling silver, thrifted or lab created jewels, or where she uses natural jewels, ethically sourced. The end result of this work is a beautiful, sustainable, wearable piece of jewellery.
