A contemporary moon jar, inspired by ancient Korean moon jars. The vessel is built in two pieces then joined, and then Andrew Hill continues to glaze, to fire, to layer ceramic atop ceramic atop ceramic, culminating in the form almost exploding the detail and glaze.
