IKF120: Folded vase - pearl blue

Using a technique called "internal folding", Isaac Katzoff creates ridges on the inside of the glass form when it is still just a hot bubble of glass. This gives it a structure and defines the shapes created when the piece is blown out to the final form. This delicate blue vase almost echoes the natural shapes of a shell with it's softly curved shape.
