LJ: Silvereye/Tauhou - kelp

A familiar bird to most gardens, the friendly and chattering silvereye, this version in cast glass captures the bird mid-flight, as it flits from tree to tree in search of berries. This deep, rich kelp colour seems particularly true to the colouring of New Zealand's native birds.
