Reticulation is the technique of using carefully controlled heat on specially prepared silver, to create rippled undulations across the surface of the metal. When done as skillfully as Nikkie has here, it created these incredible landscapes, almost mimicking the desolate lunar moonscape. Oxidising the silver to darken it completes the effect. Hung on a handmade sterling silver chain.
